Once again we had the opportunity to work with the marketing team at Huddersfield Students’ Union on their most important project of their year — the student elections.
We had a strict brief to strengthen the overall engagement from previous years. This included having a greater turn out in voters and to increase the number of students’ standing for election.
Our idea was based around a visual system that put students’ at the heart of the campaign branding. By covering the faces of the models this allowed the audience to project them-selves onto the campaign imagery.
Both criteria from the brief were met with a substantial rise in overall voters and the HSU’s highest number of election runners than in previous years.
